Media Release 3 August 2009

Sinosteel Midwest recently moved from their office in the Marina business precinct to their new office in the Ocean Centre on Marine Terrace. The new space provides an ideal headquarters for the expanding Geraldton team as the company ramps up its regional operations.

“Sinosteel Midwest has a strong commitment to the communities in which we work, and has a strong focus on supporting the social fabric of those communities while providing sustainable benefits and employment opportunities where possible,” Mr Casello said.

“We are looking forward to gaining approval for our Koolanooka Blue Hills project soon and playing a major role in the development of the Mid West into the future.”

Sinosteel Midwest has so far invested and contributed in excess of $30 million to the Mid West region supporting local facilities, sports, infrastructure, farm improvement programs, education and medical services.
